Today's CH4 Racing Preview

Hi

Another Saturday and another busy day of horse racing, with 8 races live over on CH4. Smarkets racing man Daniel has previewed all 8 races to help you find the best value.

13:45 Newbury - Legacy Cup (Group 3)
Eagle Top will likely head the market from The Corsican, who keeps improving this year. Sky Hunter and the unexposed Ooty Hill have the potential to win a group 3, but are risky having been off since spring.

14:00 Ayr - Legacy Cup (Group 3)
Priceless made a very impressive debut when bolting up at Haydock two weeks ago and now moves into group company. Whatdoiwantthatfor is consistent at this level and Delizia, who is likely to lead, may be one to back and then lay in-running if you're brave.

14:15 Newbury - Mill Reef Stakes (Group 2)
A small field but this looks very open. It's been a long season for Log Out Island, which gives a chance to Whitman or King Robert. Raucous finished behind Ribchester last time at York, but it would be no surprise if that form was reversed today.

14:35 Ayr - Silver Cup (Handicap)
A very tricky race to decipher and the safest options look to be Johara, George Bowen and recent winner Eccleston. Looking away from the market principles Boy In The Bar and Nameitwhatyoulike appeal, but this race is absolutely wide open.

14:50 Newbury - Dubai Duty Free (Handicap)
A large-field handicap in which Laurence and Cymro bring the best form of late (and weight penalties). Pacify, Mange All and Mica Mika will be towards the top of the market, as will Top Tug, who has been very disappointing this season despite support.

15:10 Ayr - Doonside Cup (Listed Race)
With Eagle Top opting for Newbury instead, Mutakayyef has a great opportunity to finally get his head in front. The likeable Top Notch Tonto has revived his career this season and could feature, as could the improving Exosphere for the Stoute yard.

15:25 Newbury - World Trophy (Group 3)
Last week the old boy Kingsgate Native ran a cracker when 2nd at Doncaster and Steps impressed when winning at York. However, this race appears easier than what both Wind Fire and Justice Day are used to and they should fancy taking this 5f contest.

15:45 Ayr - Gold Cup (Handicap)
It's fiercely competitive, but not too often do you see an unbeaten record enter a race like this and that's exactly what Don't Touch brings to the table. Lexington Abbey and Highland Acclaim are interesting at the bottom of the weights, as is Blaine.
